Rainbow Defense 2006 Gathering

In July 2006, the Rainbow Family held their annual gathering in the Routt National Forest north of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. They were met with a massive law enforcement presence and unprecedented harrassment and intimidation tactics. Below are some reports from the Gathering and calls to action to stop this unnecessary harrrassment of legitimate forest users and assault on our 1st Amendment right to peaceably assemble.
